Upload your customer list
B2B sites need to maintain up to date lists of customers who can order on login:
- Produce customer lists from your contact management system e.g. Outlook or Act or your accounts package, then upload this information in CSV format.
- Download customer details from Evolve and import them to your offline systems. This can be done in CSV format for bulk imports or using other tools described in our systems integration section.
- A unique identification number can be given to customers. This will allow you to upload customer details using the append function, i.e, you only upload changed information.
About the upload / download process in Evolve
- There are two types of uploads in Evolve - Overwrite and append . The first overwrites the data in the web store with the data you upload. Append leaves the data intact in the web store except for newly uploaded information.
- Catalogue - upload and download your entire catalogue including categories, product details and HTML pages
- Stock and prices - Upload a file from your accounts package to update stock and prices in your site.
- Contract Prices - Upload specific customer price lists. Do one or multiple customer lists at a time. Give customers their own selected range of products for them to order
- Customers - synchronize your contact database with your online store, upload and download CSV files, add offline customers to your online customer base
- Product variants - Components and attributes can be loaded from CSV files
