Marketing Tools

Promoting your products

  • Complementary products - Suggest related products, using 'people who bought this also bought...' or by setting up links yourself, such as batteries offered with portable electrical devices. Complementary products you set up can be sold at special or discount prices.
  • Kits and Bundles - Set up groups of products that can be purchased with one click whilst maintaining stock levels on the individual items.
  • Recently Viewed - Let visitors easily go back to products they have been looking at by providing links to recently viewed products.
  • Featured products and special offers - Promote your favourite products by highlighting them as visitors navigate through your site. Full design flexibility for laying out these offers and unlimited options, such as offers such as deal of the day, clearance items, recommended products, etc.
  • Best sellers and top products - Llist your top selling products automatically. Options include top products overall, by category or by product value (such as manufacturer). This works in a similar way with most viewed products.
  • Loads of search options - by price range, by application. Let your customers navigate to your products in as many ways as desired.
  • Randomly rotate your featured products - Set a number of different products to appear as featured in the same place on the site and with every refresh the product displayed will change. See which has the highest click-through rate.

Personalised emails and site content

  • Send personalised bulk emails addressed to named individuals in glossy HTML or plain text format
  • Personalise emails according to site usage and purchase history. Personalised emails generate high click-through and conversion rates. A notable success story was of a store owner sending an email informing of an upgrade product to buyers of the previous model and getting a 35% response (Site reporting allows you to know which ad generates an order).
  • Use specific pricing in your emails relevant to B2B customer groups
  • Collect details for an email newsletter from visitors who have not made a purchase.
  • Send coupons in your bulk emails (see below)
  • Use third party email tools if you prefer

Coupons and gift certificates

  • Send out coupons to give percentage or a fixed amount discounts. Coupons can be individually numbered and single or multiple use. A time period for validity can be set.
  • Coupons specific to category of product, product value, (i.e. manufacturer) or individual items
  • Add coupons to hyperlinks - You can also place hyperlinks on your site or emails that will automatically trigger the coupon discount, so all the customer has to do is click a link!
  • Track coupons and gift certificate usage and set minimum order value for coupons to be used.
  • Create single use coupons in batches - and export coupon codes in CSV format for use in other applications, such as printed mail shots. A great way to get people to come to your website.
  • Sell gift certificates on your site - all the features associated with coupons above, are provided. Gift certificates can be for specific items or can have monetary value that allows part redemption, with the balance carried forward to the next order. Track gift certificate use and see how many outstanding (as yet unredeemed) certificates are in circulation.
